Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha and Nishkam Centre

The Gurdwara began on this site in 1978 with the purchase of two houses. In 1995 the building was re-developed to what we see today in the style of Sikh Architecture. The Nishkam Centre which is part of the Gurdwara, run an enormous number of projects including job clubs, a gym, health and well-being courses, they also run the primary school and nursery over the road, a pharmacy and law firm and the local Nishkam High School.

People attend for prayer, volunteering and partake in langar (free meals for all) . Manreshpal has been part of this community since 2011, and it now plays an integral role in his life.
