The Bangladeshi Islamic Centre and Jami Mosque

88 Wills St, Lozells, B19 2AZ
0121 523 0624

The community here started as a welfare association for the Bangladeshi diaspora. The mosque was established in 1983 by founding president Haji Nasir Ahmed and founding imam Abu Said Mawlana Abdul Haque. The current building used to be two houses and was redeveloped to create a hall used for regular prayer and a madrassa for children on weekday evenings.

Listen to Saeed Al Haque talk about the role of an Imam.
